Hypnosis and hypnotherapy are very powerful tools that can treat a vast array of issues and conditions.
Hypnotherapy is a natural and organic process of tapping into the power of your own mind to achieve your self-improvement goals. Many people think of hypnotherapy only for use with habits such as stop smoking or losing weight. While it certainly is good for those, the power of the mind has no limits for personal application.
As a Hypnotherapist, I work with an almost endless array of personal achievement goals. In some cases a medical referral may be required for issues of pain management and other medical related issues. If you are working with another counseling professional already or have goals beyond personal self-improvement then I may ask for a referral from the appropriate psychology professional.

Hypnotherapy Session
Your 1st visit consists of cognitive discussion and the theory of mind. We will review how hypnosis can access your subconscious programming to reach desired goals.
Matthew will create a comfortable, hypnotic state using inductions, deepening techniques, guided imagery, post-hypnotic suggestions for success, focus and relaxation for positive results. Clients are encouraged to dedicate 60 to 75 minutes per session.

Relaxing Reiki Session
A Reiki treatment involves a Reiki practitioner gently placing their hands on the client’s body in a passive manner. The positions of the practitioner’s hands will be changed approximately every three minutes across the client’s body. Reiki is not a form of a massage as the hands remain still while in contact with the patient’s body.
During a Reiki treatment clients enter a very deep state of relaxation. A 1-hour Reiki treatment is the physiological equivalent of 3-4 hours sleep, making it one of the most advanced, natural stress reduction therapies available.

In other words, hypnosis is a set of conditions when the clients attention is focused & reduced peripheral awareness causing an enhanced capacity to respond to suggestions; that are congruent with the clients values.
Absolutely & there is an overwhelming amount of science that supports the positive results. More importantly, now that you have made a firm commitment to make changes, for yourself, your subconscious mind is actually working on it for you, and you can expect to sense some changes even before we meet.
I encourage clients to be in a position to dedicate 1.25 to 1.5 hours per session
If I have received a 1.00 for every time I have been asked that question, we could have donated hundreds of dollars per year, to the Jerry Lewis Telethon! Actually, it is a great question, a client cannot be made to do anything that violates their beliefs or values. People in Vegas or Campus shows have been carefully selected and screened, to bark like dogs, or cluck like chickens but they have willingly entered into the experience for the purpose of entertainment and notoriety!.
